Taiwanese E-Sheng drops section steel price this week- The 20th China (Guangzhou ) Int’l tube & pipe Processing Equipment Exhibition

E-Sheng Steel Co., Ltd. (ESS), one of the section steel manufacturers in Taiwan, has announced to drop its section steel price by NT$300/ton this week.
According to the price adjustment, E-Sheng’s price for small-sized angle bar was NT$19,900~20,900/ton; that for channel bar was NT$20,100/ton; that for flat bar at 38*4.5mm was NT$20,300~21,800/ton; that for certain sizes of flat bar was NT$19,800/ton; that for round iron was NT$21,400/ton.
Affected by the trade war between the US and China, the performance from tool industry was not good. In addition, the domestic construction demand remained weak in Taiwanese domestic market. The export volume decreased sharply compared to the same period last year. Therefore, section steel mills were forced to decline price this month.
