According to the Vietnamese Construction News reported on July 7, the first half of this year, Vietnam''s steel imports increased by 25% yera on year to 9.6 million tons, the total amount of US$3.42 billion, compared with last year, the number and value growth is 48% and 1%.
It¡¯s reported that although Vietnam''s domestic steel production has significant increased, but still reply on import sources. Currently Vietnam is the world''s seventh largest imports country and first in Southeast Asia.
