Taiwan's Chung Hung Steel drops price for Jan-2019 China(Guangzhou) Int’l Laser Equipment and Sheet Metal Industry Exhibition

Chung Hung Steel Corporation, one of the steel manufacturers in Taiwan, announced its new domestic and export market prices for hot-rolled, cold-rolled and galvanized steel for January on December 25th.
Currently, Taiwan''s China Steel Corporation (CSC) offered many special prices for hot-rolled and cold-rolled products. Therefore, Chung Hung decided to cut its hot-rolled coils price by NT$300/ton, cold-rolled coils price by NT$400/ton and galvanized coils price by NT$300/ton.
In addition, the company cut US$20/ton for export market (depend on the area). The current price level already came to the lowest. The chairman of CSC said the bad demand will pass away and expected that March was the turning month for good performance.
