Indian steel demand under crisis-2019 China(Guangzhou) Int’l Laser Equipment and Sheet Metal Industry Exhibition

Due to political instability emerged in the financial department which has had influence not only on infrastructure demand but also on consumer needs, and it seemed like that after April of the fiscal year 2019-2020, Indian steel demand would be likely to grow in a more moderate way.
This year from April to September India has totally consumed about 47.7 million tons of finished steel products, which realized a growth of 7.8%. In the past 4 years, Indian government put a huge amount of investment on railways, piers, roads, waterways and irrigation projects, which has sustained the national steel demand.
However, from July to September, the growth of capitals invested in construction projects has declined from 8.7% to 7.8%, compared with the same period a year ago.
In the same time, the growth in realty industry maintained a slow way.
