POSCO's cold-rolled galvanized sheet exports down, internal sales up in Jan-Nov-2019 China(Guangzhou) Int’l Laser Equipment and Sheet Metal Industry Exhibition

POSCO said that exports in 2019 were expected to be improved once the export quotas to the US were confirmed and Mexican quotas were adjusted.
According to the statistics, POSCO''s monthly sales of cold-rolled galvanized sheet in November was around 1.04 million tons, down by 12.6% month on month, also dropping by 1.5% compared with the same month last year.
Among them, internal sales accounted for around 490,000 tons, decreasing by 4.9% monthly, but up by 8.9% compared with the same month last year. The exports accounted for around 560,000 tons, decreasing 18.3% monthly, falling by 9.1% compared with the same month last year.
The relevant manufacturers said that the sales performance in November was not good due to off-season and decreasing prices of imported materials.
