It was reported that Thailand''s Millcon Steel planned to raise its annual production capacity of billet by 33% to 800,000 tons.
According to Millcon Steel, this plan will be completed within the next 2 years, and the increased production capacity was to support the construction projects related to the government’s Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) program.
In addition, Millcon Steel not only planned to increase the production capacity of high-quality steel used in construction and automotive industries but also to export billet to Indonesia, Vietnam and the Philippines to support their construction industries.
