Brazilian aluminum-zinc-coated sheet imports rise, exports fall in Apr - The 19th China（Guangzhou）Int’l Sheet metal machinery,Forging, Stamping and Setting Equipment Exhibition

According to the data from Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade, Brazil imported around 21,000 tons of aluminum-zinc-coated sheet in April, up by 189.1% compared to the same month last year. Most of the imports were from China with around 21,000 tons, accounting for 97.3% of the total imports.
From January to April this year, the imports totaled around 56,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 16.8%.
As for the exports, Brazil exported around 3,000 tons of aluminum-zinc-coated sheet in April, down by 65.5% compared to the same month a year ago. Most of the exports were to the US with around 1,800 tons, and the exports to Paraguay were around 1,100 tons.
In the first 4 months this year, the total exports were around 24,000 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 52.5%.
