Chinese average daily production of crude steel rises in Mar m-o-m- The 19th China（Guangzhou）Int’l Sheet metal machinery,Forging, Stamping and Setting Equipment Exhibition

According to the statistics, in the first three months this year, the production of crude steel in China was around 212.2 million tons, up by 5.4% year on year; that of pig iron was around 175 million tons, down by 1.2% year on year; that of steel product was around 24.7 million tons, up by 4.7% year on year.
In March, Chinese production of crude steel, pig iron and steel product was around 74 million tons, 60.5 million tons and 89.8 million tons, respectively, a year-on-year increase of 4.5%, a decrease of 1.1% and an increase of 4.2%, respectively.
The daily production of crude steel, pig iron and steel product in March averaged around 2.39 million tons, 1.95 million tons and 2.9 million tons, respectively, rising by 2.91%, 1.55% and 7.43% compared to the average daily production in January and February.
