Freddy Nock, extreme sportsman, suffered another humiliation on a mountain cableway in China on Saturday.

It was the second time the Swiss stuntman had challenged the high steel wire on Mount Tianmenshan in central China''s Hunan Province, and the second time he had failed.

By around 1 p.m., Nock had walked 300 meters along the steel hawser. After that, he was slowed down by the stronger wind and steeper slope. After walking about 435 meters, he gave up.

Although he ended up with egg on his face again, he did slightly better than four years ago when he only covered 200 meters. Tianmenshan has the world''s longest cableway, with at 7.5 kilometers.

"One section of the cableway has a slope of 60 degrees, beyond human limits. I cannot control my feet and body. Conquering it is my biggest dream, but I know safety is more important," Nock said, adding that he will not take on the steepest section again, but he intends to continue his funambulist antics until he is at least 80 years old.

Back 2010, Nock and Saimaiti Aishan, a high-wire stuntman from Xinjiang, competed in the cable, but both failed. 中国最大钣金展-锻压展-2017第十八届广州国际钣金、锻压工业展览会-巨浪展览- The 18th China Int’l Sheet metal machinery,Forging, Stamping and Setting Equipment Exhibition
